What is manual lymphatic drainage?
A gentle, rhythmic technique that works with the lymphatic system just beneath the surface of the skin. The pressure is light rather than deep, and the aim is to encourage healthy fluid movement, ease feelings of heaviness and restore a sense of lightness through the body. At Sona Vita Atelier it is the focus of The Release Ritual, offered in 50 and 80 minute versions.
I am not sure which ritual to choose. Can you help?
Yes. Tell us how you are feeling and what you would like to shift, and your ritual is composed around that. Every visit begins with a short consultation, and you are welcome to use the guided form on the contact page rather than selecting from the menu yourself.
How long are sessions, and what do they cost?
Rituals run from 50 to 110 minutes and range from $165 to $250 depending on the ritual and the length you choose. The full menu with pricing is on the Rituals page. Enhancements including Thai Herbal Compress, Sacred Stone Therapy, Botanical Scalp Therapy, CBD Serenity Therapy, The Glow Veil and Restorative Cupping Ritual can be layered onto any ritual for $20 to $40.
What happens at a first visit?
Allow a few extra minutes. We begin with a consultation covering how you are feeling, the areas you would like attention, your scent preferences and anything your therapist should be aware of. For aromatherapy rituals a bespoke organic oil blend is composed for you during the session and prepared for you to take home.
